Fans of Jimmy Century is best known for their 2008-2009 single “Hot Sahara,” which received national attention on the dance charts climbing to 23, as well as featured spots on television shows The L Word (in a scene so steamy, it’s now referred to by L Word fanatics as “The Hot Sahara Scene”,) Community, Ugly Betty, The Hills, and Samantha Who? “Hot Sahara” and the related album, Twist of the Banshees, were also on the prelist of nominations for two Grammy awards in the electronic dance category last year.

Their 2009 EP Head Go Whoosh featuring “Lola Like This” and “Hush Madame X” was released last August and is now available everywhere. Maria Sokolova Award-winning professional Belly Dancer

Maria is an award-winning professional belly dance artist based in Santa Clara of the San Jose / San Francisco Bay Area, California.

She is the house belly dancer at three popular bay area restaurants and a frequent guest at many Bay Area Arabic, Turkish, Moroccan and Persian public and private venues. Her elegant and cheerful dance style made her a sought-after performer in the Middle Eastern community. She has had the honor of performing for audiences in Turkey, Mexico, Russia and the United States.

Originally from Moscow, Russia, Maria fell in love with Middle Eastern dance while traveling in Egypt and Tunisia. Since moving to the United States, Maria has dedicated herself to the study of belly dance with her teacher, Sandra, who continues to be a major influence and inspiration for her. Workshops with well known teachers such as Raqia Hassan, Tito, Aziza, Astryd Farah, Magda, Jillina, Sonia, Bozenka and many others have further enhanced Maria's dance style. She also regularly travels to Moscow where she uses the opportunity to study with famous Russian belly dancers. In America, he continued his experience as sous chef in New York City; Washington, D.C.; San Juan (Puerto Rico); and at the Drake Hotel in Chicago. In the Bay Area, he served as chef garde manager at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose and executive chef at the Westin Palo Alto. He's also hosted a live cooking show twice a month on NBC 3.

Los Hot Boxes- Band

Christian Vela, Daniel Maldonado and Matt Kolb make up Los Hot Boxers, a talented East San Jose band. The trio blend the styles of 50s and 60s American Rock & Roll with elements of Latin and Rock Steady Reggae. What influences them? Vida, amor and vino, of course. The perfect mix for these guys. Formed in 2008, the trio has been playing various festivals and venues throughout the United States and Europe promoting their unique interpretation of what they call ‘Steady Rock’. As I write this, the band is making their way back to sunny California after playing shows this May in Texas and Louisiana. Model "Amber Von" (born on May 27, 1981) spent most of her youth in Arizona before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area....

Amber's interest in fashion began early on in life. As a child she enjoyed looking through fashion magazines. It wasn't long until she began to collect wardrobe. She prides herself on being up to date with the newest trends, and her savvy sense of style continues to grow.

At 5'5" and covered in tattoo's, Amber does not seem to be your typical runway model. Her unique style which she proclaims "Rock and Roll Glamour" often draws criticism from within the industry.

She quotes herself as "being conservative about her unconservative ways".

Her determination has helped her to carve out her own path to success. Shes is multi-faceted having spent time both in front of, and behind the camera. Even occasionally assisting with hair, make up and wardrobe styling.

You can expect Amber to stay within the industry and keep rockin' everything that makes her happy.

Vannytha Keo-

She has always been passionate about serving people whether it was in public service works or acting and modeling. She has brought about tons of smiles and laughter to those she is blessed with. Currently, Vannytha is attending Foothill College pursuing her Theatre Arts degree. Gabe Biser

Gabe Biser has been an active member of the performing arts world for over 15 years. He has performed in various theater groups in Northern California as well as appearing in feature films. When not taking the stage, he can be found working as a professional DJ. He has spun in many different nightclubs throughout California. He has a strong passion in working with children, and has taught classes for Be That Kid Productions in the past, as well as working with Junior Theater groups in the South Bay Area.

Cado

Cado brings Brazil with him wherever he plays. His passion for music crosses many genres and styles. Whether or not you understand the language of his songs, it is clear that he is a poet telling beautifully sculpted stories. Cado's voice is a juxtaposition of melodious balance and a rawness that convinces the listener he sings with conviction. His music might be hard to categorize solely because of his wide range of influences. Cado sings in three languages-- Portuguese, Spanish, and English. From rock, samba jazz, pop, soul, alternative to bossa nova, his music transcends barriers. His stage name comes from his sister, who couldn’t pronounce Ricado, and called him Cado. As a teenager, he embraced acts like Nirvana, Silverchair, etc. He moved from Brazil to Portugal at a young age, then him and his mom landed in San Jose, CA in 1992. Although he grew up listening to Brazilian music, he didn’t try to play it until he was 19. As an artist, he's been fortunate to meet some his core influences at local shows including Seu Jorge, Jamie Collum..... both equally excited about his enthusiasm and musicianship. At 21 he decided to give up electric guitar and steel strings and focus on acoustic with nylon strings. Although I've never been a musician in terms of performance and formal training, I've been around music enough to love and appreciate it, and know that I carry it in my soul. When I meet people who do too, I smile. Even now, I get chills from a lot of Cado's songs. He has a way of breaking down the complexities of life in a way that is heartfelt and relatable. Cado will be performing at the San Jose Jazz Festival and West Coast Jazz Festival this year 2010.

One of the make up artist that i would like to mention her name here and also she will be wearing my design as well. I'm really value her time for the last two months since I have known her. She has always on my side whenever I need her help to make the models look good.. She will be available for me even she herself is very busy as well with her engineering job. Thanks to her. Cindy ,, btw. .have i told you about me.. that I would not forget to include my community, my family and my friends for anything I do.? Also, I forgot to mention why most of people who know me that they love me, but same time they afraid to see me hehhe .. because they know i will make their life less bore and more wild lol.... i meant more exciting ..heheh.by either volunteer their times or their money, so together we will help out more unfortunate victims through disaster reliefs or community services to make better environment through many different social activities..
